30mm Tube - Illum. 300 Blackout reticle - 1st Focal Plane - Exposed M2 Turrets

The matte black 1.5-5x20 Mark 4 MR/T M2 Riflescope from Leupold is a medium-range, tactical scope that features a weather-sealed housing, 30mm optical path and an illuminated 300 Blackout front focal plane reticle. Leupold's uses index matched lead-free glass and Xtended Twilight multi-layer lens coatings to provide maximum light transmission and image clarity. Blackened lens edges also help to improve image contrast by reducing glare within the lens system.

Complementing the advanced optical system and broad zoom range, this Mark 4 series scope is configured with a durable housing that is built to endure regular use in unforgiving conditions. The scope's one-piece aluminum tube is weather-sealed and filled with an argon-krypton gas mixture that that provides greater thermal stability and fogproof protection than conventional nitrogen gas. Additionally, the spring-loaded erector system enables a generous impact point correction range; it also helps the windage and elevation turrets maintain zero even after repeated recoil.

This Mark 4 has M2 adjustment dials and features a BDC reticle for the 300 Blackout cartridge that provides a ballistic solution that seamlessly transfers between subsonic and supersonic ammunition, as indicated respectively by a turtle and a hare. It is comprised of a 1.0 MOA dot surrounded by a 5.0 MOA circle. The hash marks on the horizontal stadia can be used for leading targets moving at 5, 10, and 15 mph, respectively. The tic marks have been moved to each side of the vertical stadia, with the left side used for the subsonic round in 50 yard increments and the right side for the supersonic round in 100 yard increments. For best results, the 300 Blackout reticle should be zeroed at 100 yards using supersonic ammunition. Once zeroed at 100 yards, the center point of the reticle also serves as the 50 yard aiming point for the subsonic rounds.
